Two of the signallers whom I took with me also had a flight and they enjoyed it immensely. The officers were extremely courteous to us and told us anything which we wanted to know and in that refined and precise manner which only an English Gentleman knows how to use correctly. I met two Australians belonging to that squadron one of whom was a qualified pilot and an M.C.
Today's war news is very good all round. The Russians have started again and taken 7000 prisoners, 38 guns and their cavalry have pushed through.
