Tuesday 24th [April]
Plenty of hard work. To Armentieres with transport for fuel etc. Trip to Belgium at night.

Received good Australia mail. At night went to Follies & Germans shelled Pont Nieppe Bridge and the Baths today.
Friday 27th
Quiet day. Still going strong at M.D.S.(new) at Pont D'Achilles.
Saturday 28th
Wrote letters.
Sunday 29th
Today is the first day since October that we have felt warm & it is really hot today. Although it is Sunday there is no spell for us & work continues just same.
Monday 30th
Night To Follies at Nieppe. Fritz sending over many shells behind Nieppe & shook the ground very considerably. At our new M.D.S. water is scarce & for first time on active service we are washing in ditch water. It has been quite warm lately. Fritz got nothing today in the air as in our sector he destroyed 4 planes & 2 captive balloons. Our new machines are a treat we
