Wrote Lyd. Goddard & Doris Blackwell. Matron, 2 men probable enteric. Ellis & Earn go to Band. Dave & Billy go to the Kirk. Night Ward Master.

Wrote to Mum & George 46-47, Dad 45. Went to Heliopolis with Q.M.S. Williams. Saw Pictures & ate Peanuts. All the other Boys stayed at Home.
Tuesday 27 June 1916
Dreamt of Nell & Fanny. Can't remember anything very startling.
Wednesday 28 June 1916
Dreamt again being at Church with Mum. Played Cards a lot.
Thursday 29 June 1916
Wrote to Bess. Met Dick Rowe. Remount Unit give concert.
Friday 30 June 1916
All day leave. Saw all the Boys off to Aust. & spent day at Giza & Zoo. Dave, Bill & I played Billiards & I won one game. Dreamt of Jess, mother again.

Wrote Home (48), Madge, Mrs. Whitehead, Nell, Cuneo. In charge of Sydney Pavilion & put Patient Blackwell into Mel. 8.
