Monday 28th October
At St. Bartholmews Hospital arranging for electrical treatment for arm. Decided to have it done at No. 1 General Hospital, Camberwell. Sent subscription to RVIA Melbourne. Dined with Major & Mrs. Grieg at Grosvenor Hotel and afterwards to Theatre – Colliseum – Russian Ballet Dancing particularly good.

Tuesday 29th October
Spent morning sitting to Longstaff.
Lunched with Miss Butler George at Piccadilly Hotel and during afternoon she took me to Bond Street Galleries. Called at Garrards Albemarle Street for my CB insignia left many months since for alteration.

Wednesday 30th October
Had photo taken at Elliott & Fry, Baker Street then went on to give Longstaff a sitting.
In afternoon attended Cinema show at Harrard Hotel, 2 Norfolk St., subject "With the Australians in Palestine". Met Mr. Larcombe & Henley there.

Thursday 31st October
In morning visited No. 1 London General Hospital at Camberwell, Horseferry Road providing me with car. Had both electric and massage treatment. In afternoon gave sitting to Longstaff.

Friday 1st November
Stayed in during morning. In afternoon at offices of Ministry of Information, Norfolk Street, lectured to Press representatives of British Empire, America, Canada etc., regarding Australia's effort in this war.

Saturday 2nd November
At bank in morning and did sundry shopping. In evening took Miss Cowlishaw to dinner at Piccadilly Hotel. Discussed many items of Australian interest particularly as regards her brother Walter, and his non service with the A.I.F.
