Speaks of having undertaken to improve a 6 pence, of Mr. B having askd leave to Copy his Press which he seems inclind to agree to upon Proper terms he mentions also that he hopes to be able to engrave dies for the Copper Coinage in England & speaks of them in plural (Coins) & in that Case prepares his List [indecipherable] with then something Engraven on the Edge to be Struck at the same time as the rest of the Coin

Speaks of much Communication with B. on the Subject of Steel of the application of a Fire engine to move the Coining presses calls Mr. B. a generous man accept his offer of £100 for each press he shall construct from designs to be sent by B one of which he intends to send within a week requests however that he may be allowd £200 for the first not so much because it deserves as that he wants the money, he speaks of dies that will be wanted by Mr B in the plural & under after having said that he is to engrave them offers assistance to the engraver at Birming[ham] who is to multiply them by furnishing him with Puncheons for Letters ornaments Effigies &c  desires to know what proportion of sets & demisets will be wanted that he may immediately set about these puncheons hopes together they he shall be able to make the best Coin that has ever existed if the edge is worked by the severe blow to the Faces

Speaks of B generosity in having agreed to give him £200 for the 1st Press merely on his requesting it & promises that he also will not intrude upon so liberal a Conduct
