These List will be of Some use in Pointing you to you such things as we know of and are desirous to obtain but you must not be surprised if some of the Plants of these Lists are Difficult or indeed impossible to obtain or think it necessary to make every particular effort in order to get them if perchance they are the Produce of distent or a little acessible part ot the Empire, your best guide will be the knowledge you have of the Chinese Plants already in his majesties Garden & you will lose no opportunity of sending home such as are not there if you think them either usefull [indecipherable] or beautifull
