other oil I send you now Sir, in the Small Box (with drawings of the Clove and Nutmegs) is pure it was distilled from rhe leaves of the Melaleuca angustifolia, under my own inspection.

     About Seven Bushels full of leaves will yield one quart Bottle of real unadulterated Oil, and it will take Six days to distill it, this I know from experience.

     The principle object of my mission at this time to the Moluccas, is to procure as many plants of the Sagowear tree as possible, (Sagueris of Rum.) this plant take its name from the liquid Substance it yields, called Sagowear by the natives of the Moluccas, it is much
