Moderately cool with some showers -

17th 18th & 19th March - Verdialho grapes the same as last being for the most part very ripe with many of them dried up into raisons the last pressings invariably yielding the Vermouth first

Filled 3 of the 420 gals casks on these three days with enough in smaller casks to heap them full.
 

No 1 Cask averages Sp. giro about 1114
No 2    "           "                  " 1118
No 3 Combining the last pressings and the last ripe of the grapes about 1114o

   
Each had boxes put in at the binge during their most violent formentation.
