Monday 3rd [Dec]
Very heavy frosts. All pools frozen this morning & trying to snow. It did a little.
Tuesday 4th
Another heavy frost this morning. At football the A Team defeated B Team by 16 – 0. The B Team were outclassed I played my first game today with B Team & didn't have anything to do. Saw Les Powers this afternoon. He is with 15 [?] Fld Amb & also Sammy Doyle.
Wednesday 5th
Concert by our own boys. Very good. First appearance of our orchestra.
Thursday 6th
Football practice & at night Cribbage tournament. Weather very cold & everything frozen pools [indecipherable] etc.
BOMBING RAIDS BY GOTHAS
Friday 7th Saturday 8th
Played football this afternoon against ASC Team (D Cunningham was playing) & won by 6 – 5. Two goals by Billy Brown against a converted try. I played but did not shape at all well at full back.

Fritz was over us bombing with his Gothas this afternoon – five or six of them & he distributed a few papers.
Tuesday 11th
Polling day. Reinforcements Referendum. I voted "yes"
