Ave! Fossa damnata triplica, te obiturus saluto. Ave atque Vale. In other words, thank God, we are off at last. We leave at 6pm today Jerusalem wards.
The 'planes came over again yesterday morning but dropped no bombs at all near us. Today we slept on in peace. The first morning he did most damage accounting for 100 odd of which quite 40 were killed. This morning – two days too late – our planes were up patrolling.
