Over 14,000 prisoners were captured in the last two days. Word has come through that the Scotties are in Bapaume station. Needless to say. The casualty list is frightful on our side. The village & fields are littered in dead.

A shell came over this morning & killed 14 & wounded 11 four miles behind the line.
