MEMBERS.

2. The MEMBERS shall consist of all Persons willing to support the avowed Object of the Institution, by voluntary Subscriptions and Donations.–A Subscription of not less than Ten Shillings shall constitute a Member, and Three Pounds a Member for Life, who shall have the Privilege of voting at all general Meetings.
 

COMMITTEE.

3. The Concerns of this Institution shall be conducted by a Committee of not less than seven, and not more than twenty-one Members, including a Treasurer and Secretary, to be chosen annually from among the subscribers ; with all the Clergy, who may become Member of the Institution ; and shall meet, at least, on the second Wednesday in August, November, February, and on the Day before the Annual Meeting in May, at Ten o'Clock in the Forenoon, and three to form a Quorum.
 

TREASURER.

4. The Treasurer shall receive all Sums of Money subscribed or given for the Use of the Institution, and make such Payments as shall be ordered by the Committee, and signed by the Chairman and Secretary. He shall also furnish a Statement of all Monies received and paid, at the End of every Quarter.
 

SECRETARY.

5. The Secretary shall keep an accurate Account of every Particular relating to the Institution, shall attend (by himself or Deputy) all Meetings of the Subscribers and Committee, and shall correspond, as Opportunity may offer, with the London "Sunday School Union," and with such Schools as may be established throughout the Colony, on the immediate Concerns of the Institution, as directed by the Committee from Time to Time.
 

ANNUAL MEETINGS.

6. An Annual Meeting of the Subscribers, convened by Notice, shall be held on the second Wednesday in May, at Twelve at Noon, when a general Statement of the Concerns of the Institution shall laid before them ; and a Committee, Treasurer, and Secretary chosen for the Year ensuing. Also, three Auditors shall be appointed to examine the financial Accounts of the Institution. N.B.–No Alterations shall be made in the Rules, but at these or special Meetings.
