from attempting to eat all the fruit, sweets & cakes etc. thrown to them by the inhabitants, & smoking innumerable cigars & cigarettes at the same time.
Brissenden has got rather a nasty cold, but otherwise all of us are in the best of spirits & feeling as fit as they make 'em. As I am also writing to mother & Dorothy, there is no need for me to ask to be remembered to them. Good bye till next time.
