The flights of the Lyric Poets are marvellously short perhaps the beauty of sentiment supplies the apparent deficiency - if not, repetition must  - for all the aboriginal songs I have heard are frequently repeated, I am told by Mr. Somerville who sings all those songs in concert with the Blacks that they are very difficult to be translated

I find I have frequent written Qui and Quia for Gni & gnia - Imsure from the resemblance in the original between q & g - u & n - those are the only errors I can detect - I have altered [losere?] , others remain as where written
