B.G. Cattura Heavy rains with little interruption the whole month many of the oldest Natives remark that they do not remember such a deluge for many years the River Cattura rose several feet in a few hours very little work could be done out of doors except turning the rivulets of the roads and walks etc. kept the men busily employed in drying seeds cuttings number sticks of Bamboo etc putting handles to Coconuts & making Rattan baskets for Epidendrons and repairing and draining inside of the Godowns
B.G. Slave Island A similar duty has been done here as at Cattura by cutting number sticks and drying seeds etc the Garden
