B.G.  Left Cattura in company with the Collector of the district Mr. Badger on an excursion to Bentotte, a small village situated on the Banks of a salt water River of that name 12 miles from Cattura on the road to Galle.  It has a rest house and the river divides the district of Cattura from that of Galle, the road leads along the sea shore and the soil and plants are much the same
