Ideal anchor brand milk. Lieut. Phillips refused it as he said it was comfort funds stuff & they did not want it. Pte. J.G. Ferguson heard him. If it really true that Comfort fund goods are being sold at the Canteen, it is a shame & should be stopped. It is robbery, & no wonder the Canteen pays.

A beautiful day.

I was again out on parade this morning. The drill was bayonett fighting. In the afternoon I was blacksmithing.

I received 5 francs from P.J. Regan for making him a souvenir.

I received a copy of the Portland Observer from my Father and The Leader. Nov 24/17 from K. Miller.

Wednesday March 13. 1918. 1318.
A beautiful day, I was again working on the Mess cart.

I made a fridge out of 9 shell case for E. Thomas this evening.

I finished reading "Modern Geography" by Marion L. Newbigin a very interesting book of the home University Library.
