The Stars in their courses to say nothing of the Stokers seem to be fighting against our getting home for Xmas. There has been a strong headwind & a fairly choppy sea the last two days & the day's run has dropped from 260 to about 220, so if it does not improve we shall not get to Melbourne until the 21st or 22nd, which will effectually stop me from
