is nothing to stop us as far as I can see from advancing straight on.
Ammon is a dirty little place but I got the surprise of my life on going through it.
Just on the left as one goes through there is an almost perfect old Roman Ampitheatre. The Columns & peristyles of the entrance are still standing & most of the Auditorium is complete. Unfortunately a road now runs through what was the arena though some of that is also left. In fact it is probably as good a representation as you would see anywhere & probably the only one extant outside Italy.
I think we move tomorrow sometime.
