Jericho Jane did not fire this morning and I think that it is gone. The turks are now evacuating Shunet Nimrin & Es Salt & there is a rumour.

10 p.m.
I was interrupted just there by the news that we were going that same evening & thus I had no more time to write.
We set out that evening & reached Shunet Nimrin at about 3 a.m. next morning, here we stayed until 11 a.m. when we entered the hills. The fires lit by the evacuating Enemy were still burning & on turning a corner in the wadi we were delighted to see Jericho Jane lying on her side in the stream with a dead Turk alongside her.
