our mite to his general discomfort as soon as he begins to retire as I imagine he must do if we can swing our Left Flank round.
This morning at dawn I was awoken by two shots from the big gun – shrapnel over Jericho & then he shut up & fired no more until this afternoon when they tell me that he fired six more up the river but I was up at the 1st Bgde. & heard nothing so I hae me doots.
The weather has improved tremendously the last few days being much cooler. The nights now are just lovely.
