Fine day but hot.
Sports this afternoon, also a good concert at night. Number of men misunderstood concert partys motives in having Stage on 3 Hatch. Tried to count them out. Concert proceeded & got great reception . A good concert.
Sunday, 18 May
Influenza broken out on board, forard deck isolated for patients mostly crew. Sgts object to isolation being above their mess. Have paraded for it to be placed aft. Hardly any stokers left. Calling for volunteers @ 5/- shift of 4 hours. Speed of tub reduced.
