at home, which was dated 11/7/16 also one from little Teddy and Alfie (a postcard) on the same afternoon wrote a letter to Miss Bourke. but it was Knocked back by the Censors therefore missed that mail for the letter was returned to me and at 7 pm. same evening 31/8/16 we all moved off once more with full back up and marched to the "poperinghe" Railway Station about half mile through the town and entrained there, in small Railway carriages packed in like sardines, it was an Armoured train the engine was covered with plates of steel all over, and we only had to travel five mile in this train
