Friday 29/10/15 Had letter from Doff forward from Egypt walked to Hatfield (7 miles)
Saturday 30/10/15 Had letter from Corlette - went to St Albans and saw oldest inhabited house in England - "The Fighting Cocks" & the Cathedral at St Albans
Sunday 31/10/15 Woke in a most unusual manner at 2 am and noted time which would be 12 noon 31/10/15 [in Sydney] - I think it was on account of Doff. Raining all day
