Saturday 21/8/15 Order to move Battn in rear of right of line held by 4th Bde to act as a special Reserve Reconnoitre ground with Brig. & Major Martin, later at new position with Biers & Maughan. Took Two platoons up as support to 13th Battn (Tilney) Bas and McBride in charge. had look at Fire positions returned to Battn after midnight - Big attack -
Sunday 22/8/15 Two platoons returned about 12 noon - Bas having taken picks & shovels over to 18th McPherson, Bamfield, Donaldson
