Alexandria to-morrow morning. Wind very strong I saw the monument of De Lesseps of Suez fame.
Dec. 5th.
This morning early we arrived outside the harbour of Alexandria. About 10.o'clock we made our way into the wharf. I was very much impressed by the buildings in this city.
Later. We are now unloading horses, wagons fodder etc. We will be working until late this evening.
