The great mine of Fahlin in [dalecerbia?] has recently ceasd to be productive the mineral lay in the form of a Cone & the workmen who are known to have mind [mined] there for 500 years at Least have now found themselves in a very confind there near its apex

a new mine has been discoverd at a place Calld athvideberg near the Confines of Ostrogothia & Smelandia which is now so productive of Copper as to give hopes that it will replace the deficiency of Fahbin the produce in both mines in 1793 was about 8000 [Shippand?] 1250 Tons

Mr. Bolton tells me that in Calculating the Price to be given for Copper are at the Cornish Ticketings  allowance is

always made expected by the  ticketer for returning charges which he estimates at about £2.10 per Ton of ore by that if the purchaser of the ores can Sell this Cake Copper at the same price as the ore Costs him he is no loosers all above that Price is gain

[in margin]  Sale Price of the Smelter
The Charge of 7 per % which he adds to the Price of Cornish ore in his own Case is meant to Cover all Charges & profits expected by him on the Copper  Even the interest of money between the Coin being Issued from the mint & the Receipt of Payment for it which is sometimes 2 months.  Feb 1799  See Mr. Vivian to Mr. Bolton

The Price of Copper to the Consumer is always Ruld [ Ruled] by the Ticketing Price of the Preceding Quarter   The exhorbitant Rise in the Ticketings in the present Quarter will be felt in the beginning of April next
