that he is furnishd with

he thinks London the best Place to Coin in & would deliver his halfpence at the Tower or the Bank at the Price proposd

he is of opinion that the only mode of Stopping Counterfeiters is to Provide national Coin of a size as nearly as possible Equal to its intrinsic value & Proposes an ounce of the proper weight of a penny & ½ an ounce of a halfpenny

he thinks delicacy of workmanship & especialy a Bright Edge of no use against Counterfeiting because the Copper is too Soft to retain them long & he deprecates the use of any mixture that will harden Copper because the alteration of Color that must arise from the mixture would open the door to Counterfeits

he offers to Sell Scales at 12d a pair which may be fastend to a basket or a stall & will weigh Copper Coin almost as fast as it can be Counted

he thinks weight alone a defence against Counterfeiters but says that the Public did not like the anglesey pence because of their weight he therefore advises on Issue of halfpence  he says that 300 Tons of Counterfeits were Issued at Birmingham in the Two last years & that the Trade Continues
