Senior Sergeant Bragg regrets to report
that he cannot find any person in the
Cootamundra District who is consonant
with the Aborigines language, and therefore
cannot fill in the attached form, there
are no aborigines residing in the Cootamundra
District.

on this matter better see some of the
very old settlers who may be able to
assist. A blackfellow here says the abori-
ginal name of Coota is the
bark of a tree see the instructions in
