Tuesday June 5.6.17Stand to 3 A.M. fed up had Breakfast there is a very heavy fog it is almost like rain. Saddled up moved off 4.30 A.M. trecked till 9 A.M. halted for ½ an d hour moved again trecked as far as Serapeum which Place we reached 12 oclock. very hot day unpacked had dinner rested till 2 P.M. went to canal had a swim. I wanted a wash Badly watered our camels had tea 5.30. fed up a nice moon is just rising 6.30 P.M. and I am going to turn in. I feel very tired to night we have traveled 120 miles to here in four days. went to the canteen got some Biscuits turned in 7.30.
