Thur Feb. 29th Mar. 1st
Weather fine &cool. Afternoon lecture by Medical officer. Alarm 4.30 P.M.

Thur Mar. 2nd
Weather getting hotter.   Selected with 13 other men from 35th  to form Permanent submarine guard along with same number from 9th  & 10th Pioneers  20th  &  33rd  Batts. No other duties.   Rifle practise in afternoon. Alarm 3-30. P.M. Gun practise by Ulimaroa & Miltiades. (Wireless) Germans retiring on portion of their front in Flanders.

Sat Mar. 3rd
Weather fine & hot. Sub-guard rifle practise in morning. Sports in afternoon. 4-00 Sub  alarm & Boat  alarm. Rifle practise for Sub-guard. Practise shooting for ship's gun at target thrown over from ship.
