we cannot state so decisively with respect to the other. We have only further to add that although apparently in a condition to bear the voyage, still it may happen that some of the samples now transmitted may not arrive in such a state as to be fit to produce after so short a period of rest as must [necessarily?] elapse after their arrival in England. The whole of them excepting [no?] 6 would be altogether changed for the better by being kept two or three years longer.
