with a light Breeze to the Southward and Eastward we got out to Sea.  After putting Lieutenant Robbins onboard the Integrity, she bore up for Hunters Islands, and we stood to the Northward by the Wind on the Starboard Tack.

Before I conclude, permit me to observe, the sufferings and losses, during the Passage, of many embarked in the small Vessels, have been great, and I think entitle them to your Excellencys consideration.  I have further to remark, that I believe the Commander of His Majesty's Armed Tender, and the Commanders of the Colonial Vessels, have executed themselves to the utmost of their power, in forwarding the Public Service, since we left Port Jackson.  Enclosed are copy's of Orders given by me;  also the copy of a Letter to Lieutenant Governor Paterson, with his answer thereto.  I have the honor to be, with respect,
