I have sent home in Spirits an animal which is called Colah. I had it alive but by some neglect while I was absent it died; but I doubt of any ever living so long a passage. Its is directed to Mr. Horne. As my Daughter has sent home some little fancey drawings to her Mother two drawings of the Colah are rolled up with them for You, which were made by a Mr. Lewin who is publishing Drawings of the Birds & Insects of his Country. I have made a large demand for Paper which I hope Mr Chapman will not fail to send out, for we have none to supply Caley with. He is a strange man and I think should have sent you more Tubs of Plants by this conveyance but he refused Governor Kings request to have them. Col. Paterson Plants from Port Dalrymple I hope will be curious as well as Caleys.
