[Page 15]
This, Sir, is what has occurred to me upon the subject; and I shall be very happy, if these be any thing out of the many circumstances, which I have laid before you, that may merit your notice. The whole is an extract taken memoriter from part of a work, which I purpose soon to publish. The limits, within which I am held, will not permit me to produce my authorities for the little pieces of history, which I mention: but they will hereafter in my publication be uniformly subjoined.

My best hopes, and most ardent wishes will ever attend your noble undertaking and I shall most sincerely long to see you and your excellent Friend return with success from the new world; and with every happy circumstance, that can crown an enterprise so glorious.

I am with great esteem Sir                                                                                         Your most Obedient and most Humb Servant                                                                Jacob Bryant
