From later information it appears we are a fair distance due south of Hazebrouck & nearer Merville which is a few kilos distance. This confirms the idea that we were on the southern side of the [indecipherable]: I wonder if the powers that be are preparing to strike hard towards Merville, & so cut off or chase the retirement of the Bailleul & Keterin forces.
We are now preparing to move up the line. I
