Tuesday 6th
Orders to move off at 8 PM so have fallen in twice this morning fully loaded Marched out at 9 & entrained at Arcques about 4 Killos. Got Cocoa from the Comfort Fund & our own cooks gave us tea It was all in the dark on account of the Planes but there were none about. Left about 11 PM The truck was fairly full but I was fairly comfortable in a corner but got no sleep. Detrained at Hangist on the Somme at 11.30 AM & (Wed) got more cocoa, (also had cocoa at 6 this morning) marched a little way to a rest camp at Bourdon
