20th. Sat May
After breakfast visited Manchester city, had run round & took several "snaps" returning to Deane with Mr Andersoon. After dinner went with same to Links where we met 2 other friends of his & played Golf. till about 7pm. when we had nice light tea & continued play after till dark. Returning home had bath & dressed for wives of golf mates who did not come when expected. Had dinner about 11pm & to bed about 1am.
