Quite a hilly coast line, Had a very smooth passage arrived London about 6 am Walked down the Embankment passed Cleopatras Neadle which has been splattered by a bomb & a few holes made in the bronze Sphinx at one side of it, Had breakfast Bath etc at WarChish & caught a train about 10 for Harwich Nab met me on Station & we went took our tea out to Penmill that evening
