Four of us went out to fill in the cracks & holes in the O. Post. Like kids makeing mud pies - & just about as usefull The Major came along he did not like the job some of it badly done so our Oficer took some men out at 3 am to fix things up. They got in a barrage about ½ way out & spent some hours in a dugout before they could move 2 or 3 got gassed slightly A few shells got near the camp
