this new camp Sarapean is something similar to Man'd only there is no town nearer than Ismailia which is about 9 miles away the line is quite close to us
Thursday 2
D troop are out this more as a screen for the main body Skirmishing to day was the worst day I have ever experienced - dust storms prevented our managing great [indecipherable] in the afternoon. it was awfull the food is very good now that there is butter.
Friday 3
usual Routine Drill. to day is similar to yesterday, dust storms and hot winds. the sand makes one nearly blind one. Our parade went well within 1 mile of the Salt lakes this afternoon
Saturday 4
The 7th are orderly Squad Swimming parade to the Canal ect - these swims are looked forward too
