<p>[Page 97]</p><p>SATURDAY 22ND DECEMBER 1917<br />Moved out at 9.30. Beautiful day clear & cold. Ice in ditches 2-3 inches thick. Arrived at new quarters 12 noon. Look as though they will be very muddy. Unpacked limbers. One of centre section guns was blown out today. We are near Nieppe nr Steenwerck.</p><p>SUNDAY 23RD DECEMBER 1917<br />Reveille 6.30. Very cold indeed during night & did not get much sleep in consequence. Usual routine & on guard tonight.</p>
