<p>[Page 149]</p><p>MONDAY 17TH JUNE 1918<br />Weather fine. About 9 pm enemy shelled wagon lines with H.V. and killed Dal Tindale and 2 men of D.A.C.</p><p>TUESDAY 18 JUNE 1918<br />Weather dull, threatening storm. Shelling by enemy of back areas seems active but we were not shelled till evening. At 6 pm we buried poor old Tindale in Frechencourt Cemetery. Wrote to Dal & Nelson Lack.</p><p>WEDNESDAY 19TH JUNE 1918<br />Rained heavily during the night. Wrote to Aunt Ben. Shelled again at night for a while.</p><p>THURSDAY 20TH JUNE 1918<br />Still wet. Shelled again a little. Commenced letter to K.</p>
