<p>[Page 151]</p><p>THURSDAY 27TH JUNE 1918<br />Fine. More bombing at night.</p><p>FRIDAY 28TH JUNE 1918<br />Warm weather. The last few days there have been lots of Americans here working & completing the construction of the trenches in the vicinity.</p><p>SATURDAY 29TH JUNE 1918<br />Afternoon played cricket against 12th Batty & defeated them by an innings & 28 runs. I scored 23.</p><p>SUNDAY 30TH JUNE 1918<br />Weather fine. A little bombing near us last night. Received 5 parcels from home.</p><p>MONDAY & TUESDAY 1ST & 2ND JULY 1918<br />Fine. Wrote home on Monday.</p><p>WEDNESDAY 3RD JULY 1918<br />Last night a very heavy bombardment in the village of Albert. This makes about the 4th during the past week.</p>
