all day. Writing at night.

Monday 23rd
At 7 a.m. left Camp 3 to relieve "B" Section at the 9th Brigade Hosp. No. 2 Camp 19 (Artillery).
I was clerk there and was kept going.

Tuesday 24th
Keep Kept going all day. Received letters & parcel of socks.

Wednesday 25th
Was relieved at 10 a.m. by "A" Section and we proceeded to Camp 3 again.
Cleaning harness afternoon. Mail from home.

Thursday 26th
Clean up in anticipation of leave tomorrow.

Friday 27th
Although wet & rain was about we left Camp at 9 a.m. and arrived in London about 1 p.m. Thence round to Aldwych Hut with Corp. Macaulay and booked our beds etc. then dinner. Walk with Mac down Strand and I had a photo taken at Chesneys Ltd. and we purchased several necessities also Christmas Cards. Back to Aldwych for tea.
Leaving Mac I went to Charing Cross Stn. but rain prevented me from walking about much.
Had supper in the "Corner House" about 9 and then went for a run by tube to Upton Park & back arriving Aldwych at midnight.

Saturday 28th
Referendum Polling Day in Australia.
Morning. Stroll along Embankment with Mac, Harold Lees & Ron Ponton and inspecting Cleopatra's Needle we pushed on to Parliament House. Went thro' the several galleries there also House of Lords & House of Commons. Was rather disappointed with the size of rooms in which the
