Robins (Naval) on board for breakfast. Troops not embarked as expected, news through that troops were not to sail (10 A.M.). Rest of Battn. marched out on to Domain & cheered "B" Coy (11 A.M.).

Afternoon, Cruiser Melbourne leaves suddenly. Afternoon spent on board, 6 P.M. A company from 1st Battn under B.J. Swanell (Cpt.) goes on board "Afric", Evening spent on board returned 11.15 P.M. was shown down engine room @ 11 A.M.
