In the afternoon we were issued with new uniforms

They looked rather like this, but were most acceptable up here when comfits are few.
During the night we gave a fine fireworks display.
The "Lili" returned with a new boat. They had some excitement with the cannibals.
Sunday 8th Nov
Caught the fever & it lasted until Monday 16th Nov when I came out of hospital
