Violent battle still proceeding in North France and West Belgium,at present 'undecided.
The Allies are generally holding their ground, but the enemy have crossed the River Yser
Germans reported to have sustained enormous losses here.
Russians reported doing well and have crossed the Vistula, but there is little news from this quarter. First Wireless received at Madang
