You have been supplied at Sheerness with a Plant Cabbin of such dimensions as will preclude all inconvenience to the working of the Ship which Plant Cabbin is stowd in the Hold.
You are when you arrive at Sydney Cove to order this Plant Cabbin to be fitted by the Carpenter on the Quarter deck of the Sloop under your Command according to the intention of its construction, & you are to cause Boxes for holding Earth to be made & placed therein, in the same manner as is done in the Plant Cabbin carried out by the Porpoise which you will find there on your arrival.
This Plant Cabbin with the Boxes of Earth containd in it you are to place under the charge of the Naturalist & under the care of the Gardener who are to collect during the Survey such Plants Trees Shrubs etc. as they may think suitable for the Royal Gardens at Kew & Plant them therein & then you are as often as
