Sir

We have had the honor of Your Excellency's opinion with respect to the Objection made by a Prisoner John McArthur Esquire to the Judge Advocate in answer to our Letter to Your Excellency on that Subject.

We beg Your Excellency to be assured that we have at all times the utmost deference to any opinion delivered by you; but in the present case, we cannot consistent with the Oath we have taken, or our Consciences, sit with Richard Atkins Esqr. in the Trial of John McArthur Esquire well knowing the hostile Enmity which has existed between them for the last Thirteen or Fourteen Years.  We therefore pray Your Excellency's further consideration in the Subject.
